About Nigel

Dr. Finch specializes in business analysis and strategy formulation designed to improve an organization’s financial performance. He has advised public and private sector clients operating in South East Asia, the Middle East, and Central Asia.

Until 2014, Dr. Finch was the Associate Professor in Accounting at the University of Sydney (Australia) where he also served as the Associate Dean. He is an international expert in the area of asset impairment under IFRS and has authored books on a wide variety of business subjects including emerging markets, sovereign risk, and mining.

Dr Finch holds degrees in accounting, business, and law and a Ph.D. in accounting. He is a chartered accountant and a Fellow of CPA Australia, the Governance Institute of Australia, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
